Egwugwu Masks

A little hard to spell and even harder to pronounce, Ms. Flaig's English I Honors classes made Egwugwu (EH-gwou-gwou) masks.

The inspiration for this interesting project came from the book Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

The task was to design a mask that represented the student's personality and ancestry. Afterwards, they had to present their mask to the class and explain how the design represented them.
